Meet the Founder
Amplify Women Tampa Bay was founded by Nicole Waters — a business leader, connector, and community advocate who believes in the power of women helping women. Throughout her career, Nicole noticed a recurring theme: while Tampa Bay was full of talented women and valuable resources, there was often a disconnect between the two. Many didn’t know where to turn for guidance or how to tap into the support systems already available to them.
That realization sparked a vision — to create a space that connects women not only to the right tools and opportunities, but also to each other. A place where established leaders and rising professionals can share experiences, insights, and encouragement.
Amplify Women Tampa Bay was born from that vision — to bridge the gap between resources and relationships. What began as an idea to help women find direction has evolved into a dynamic, purpose-driven network that champions connection, confidence, and collaboration. Today, AWTB proudly carries forward Nicole’s mission: to ensure that every woman, no matter where she is in her journey, has the tools, community, and confidence she needs to truly thrive.

Amplify Women Tampa Bay offers a variety of experiences throughout the year. This October, we’re launching our ‘Under the Sun Chats’—in-person conversations with top female CEOs, founders, innovators, and community leaders. We’ll dive into their life and career journeys, lessons learned along the way, and what they love most about Tampa Bay. These are hosted at the offices of Bernstein Private Wealth Management.
In addition, we host VIP experiences in local businesses, theaters, and museums, plus curated dining, drinks, and dessert events. And through our partnership with BayFirst Bank, we offer both in-person and virtual workshops that deliver practical tools women can use right away. Together, these events give women a mix of inspiration, learning, and real connection all year long.
